League Bi-Laws
Official bylaws governing the Fox Hills Men's Golf League. Covers membership, dues, conduct, and governance.
This organization shall be known as the Fox Hills Men's Golf League. The purpose of this league is to promote fellowship and competitive golf among its members at Fox Hills Golf Course in Mishicot, WI.
Membership is open to all male golfers in good standing. The annual membership fee is $30 per golfer, payable to Aundre Owens or Rick Aukamp. This fee is required regardless of how many nights a player participates.
The league operates on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Shotgun start at 5:15 PM. Players must be present and ready to play at their designated starting hole at the shotgun start time.
Match play format is used. Points are awarded per hole won. Handicaps are applied per the current handicap log. Weekly awards are determined by Low Net, Low Team Gross, Low Team Net, Longest Putt, and Closest to the Pin.
All members are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. Violations of conduct may result in suspension or removal from the league at the discretion of the board.
The league is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually. The board is responsible for rule enforcement, scheduling, financial management, and all league operations.
